Paul Dean Lockard departed this life, surrounded by family, peacefully at home, on September 16, 2023, in Prim, Arkansas at the age of 84.
Paul was born on April 28, 1939, in Cleburne County, to Elbert and Viola Blythe Lockard.
Paul was a farmer and carpenter for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and the outdoors.
He was married to Josie Geiger for over 62 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, two sisters, Ethel Ashlock and Agness Murphree, six brothers, L.D., Clarence, Luie, Jim, Billie Dale, and Hubert.
Paul is survived by his wife and two daughters, Sherry Tutor (Johnny) and Terri Lockard of Prim, one brother, Donald Lockard (Sharon) of Kansas City, Mo. and 5 grandchildren Megan, Ryan, Lacy, Kolton, Kolby, and 2 great-grandchildren John and Evelyn, all of Prim and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
