Daymein Michael Oerlemans, age 16, of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 fifteen days after his birthday. He was born in Conway, Arkansas on October 10, 2007, to Michael Oerlemans and Ashley Fendley.
Daymein was a 10th-grade student at Timbo High School. He was always up for any adventure. He loved hanging out with his sister, Brookelynn and his many friends. He enjoyed driving his Ford Ranger. Daymein liked playing video games and cooking. This adventuresome, brown-haired, hazel-eyed young man will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Daymein is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Max Fendley; step-grandmother, Elizabeth Brixie and his brother-dog, Coco Bean.
Some of Daymein’s biggest fans and survivors include his mother, Ashley Fendley; his father, Michael Oerlemans; his sister, Brookelynn Oerlemans; step-father, Jesse Greenway; ex-step father, Dirk Brixie; step-mother, Kimberly Oerlemans; step-siblings, Anthony Moore, Edward Oerlemans, Ashley Brixie, Hailee Brixie, Abigayle Oerlemans and Jakob McKenzie; grandfathers, Tommy Fendley and Rudolph Oerlemans; grandmothers, Melinda Fendley and Heidi Oerlemans; great-grandparents, Betty Day, Ed Day and Gail Brown; aunts, Kelly McKenzie and Tonya Fendley; uncles, Matthew Fendley and Spencer McKenzie; cousins, Tristyn Oerlemans, Jason Prince and Dante McKenzie and many extended family, classmates and close friends.
Funeral services for Daymein were Friday, October 27th, 2023 at the Timbo Gymnasium with Bro. Junior Barham officiating. Burial was in Kuykendall Cemetery near Leslie. Bearers were Joey Blair, Keegan Blair, Jesse Greenway, Roger Greenway, Chris Greenway and Chris Huckabee.
