Phelix “Phil” Erwin Sample, 62, of Southside, AR, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Phil was born November 7, 1960, in Conway, AR, to the late Cole Sample and Johnnie Beth (Lee) Sample. He was of Christian faith and attended church at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Phil was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed riding Motorcycles. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; his beloved nephew, Billy Joe Sample; and his grandparents, Emmett and Charlene Lee, and William and Ella Sample. He is survived by his brother, Joey Sample (Kim) of Southside; his sister, Manda McGough (Pat) of Pleasant Plains; his niece, Nicole Walker of Batesville; and two nephews, Cody Sample and Chad Rhines, both of Southside. Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There are no services planned at this time.
