Gaylen Eugene Pretty, 60, of Harrisburg, departed this life on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his residence in Harrisburg, Arkansas. He was born March 30, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa the son of Marvin E. and Jeanette Myrtle (Foster) Pretty. His parents have preceded him in death. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Gaylen Eugene graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1982 and served 14 years in the Arkansas National Guard. He is survived by one stepson, Michael Story of Weiner, Arkansas, one daughter, Brittany (Kyle) Norris of Harrisburg, Arkansas, one brother, Floyd Pretty also of Harrisburg, two sisters: Leanna Higginbotham of Cabot, Arkansas and Jeanie Darney of Paragould, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Amber, Alyssa, and Allie Norris. The family will hold a Private Memorial Service at a later date.
