Ricky Dale Copeland, 43, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
“Cornbread” as he was fondly called by friends and family was born on July 13, 1980, in Newport, Arkansas.
After graduation at MVHS, he attended Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He became a welder and enjoyed the career he had chosen. Throughout his career, he traveled to many states and made friends wherever he went. He was an easygoing, and loyal friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles with his MC Brothers, and attending dirt track races.
He is survived by his loving partner Ester Avery, parents, Dale and Nina Copeland; sister, Felicia Sisk (Lee); nephews Trenton Tilley, Tristen Sisk; niece, Maci Kate Tilley; two self-adopted daughters; Jamie Ypya (Jeremy), and Christina Victory (Trevor).
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hurl and Jewel Condrey; paternal grandparents, Percy and Ida Copeland.
A memorial service will be held on November 11, 2023, at 2:00 PM, location pending.
