Gina Lou Schmitt, 47, of Big Flat, Arkansas, passed away December 14th, 2023, peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born September 29th, 1976, in Yellville, Arkansas, to Tommy and Margie “Rainbolt” Hafner.

Gina was a Christian and of the Church of Christ faith. She was a member of Grandview Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, traveling, sightseeing, cooking, hunting, fishing, raising her ducks/chickens, going to church, and spending time with her family/friends. Gina also loved her boys and girls she worked with at Marshall Milling. Gina lived life to the fullest every day. She was always happy and you would always be greeted with the sweetest smile. Those who never knew her were missing out on an amazing blessing. When she loved, she did it with all her heart.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of almost twenty years, Charles Schmitt and her parents, Tommy and Margie “Rainbolt” Hafner. Gina is also survived by a host of other relatives and many friends.
Gina was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, Lincoln and Lola Hafner and her Maternal Grandparents, Otis and Alma Rainbolt.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 18th, 2023, at the Big Flat Cemetery, beginning at 11:00 am. Brother Foy Whitelaw will officiate the service.
