Kathy Sue Canard, 51, of Mountain View, Arkansas left this earthly home, for her heavenly home on December 14th, 2023. She was born December 21st, 1971, to Oma Catherine “Wilson” Mingues Arwood and James Calvin Mingues, in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Kathy loved being outside in the beauty of God’s wonderful creation. She also loved spending time with her family, especially with her two precious grandchildren. Kathy believed that you should always live every day to the fullest because you never know what tomorrow will bring. She was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Cathlena Canard of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Thomas James Canard of Shirley, Arkansas, and Matt Canard (Cara) of Mountain View, Arkansas; one adopted son, Zachary Williams of Conway, Arkansas; one grandson, Dominic; one granddaughter, Catherine; one sister, Sadie Ivy of Mountain View, Arkansas; five brothers, J.C. Mingues (Marilyn) of McRae, Arkansas, Wade Ramsey (Donna) of Mountain View, Arkansas, Chet Mingues of Batesville, Arkansas, David Mingues (Bonnie) of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Bobby Mingues (Melissa) of Mountain View, Arkansas. Kathy also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one sister, and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, at the Mt. Joy Cemetery, beginning at 2:00 pm. Brother Gary Don Fletcher will officiate the service.
