Hazel Bibb, 93, of Timbo, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Ash Flat. She was born January 20, 1930, in Batesville to James and Jewell Ross. She worked at the International Shoe Factory and was a member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Hazel loved to work outside in her garden and flowers. She also enjoyed going to flea markets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Bibb; one brother, James ”Buddy” Ross and one sister, Mary Nadine Martin.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Deaton (Elvis) of Timbo; one brother, Bennie Ross of Cave City; four grandchildren, Dana Wilson, Frankie Edwards, Leo Edwards and Siobhan Edwards; eight great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilson, Anastasia Goff, Samuel Wilson, Scotty Wilson, Able Edwards, River Edwards, Julian Edwards and Jackson Edwards; one great-great-grandchild, Mia Green.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. There will be a private burial at a later date in Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
