Jane Kay (Baughman) Marshall, of Cord, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born in Newport, Arkansas, on December 23, 1948, the daughter of Louie A. and June L. (Purdom) Baughman.
Mrs. Marshall attended and was a former board member of Hazel Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church. On her Birthday in 1964, she married Mr. Hershell Marshall and together they raised a beautiful family and shared great joy in spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending all of their activities.
Mrs. Marshall enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors fishing and gardening, especially tending to her tomato plants and hibiscus bushes. She loved shopping and visiting with her sisters. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.
Mrs. Marshall is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kayla Edwards; one sister, Ada Sue Baughman; and her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Hershell Marshall, of the home; two sons, Lamar Marshall and wife Mary, of Plano, Texas and Brian Marshall and wife, Delana, of Cherry Valley; six grandchildren, Blair Marshall, Jessica Wade and husband, Pete, Hannah Hall and husband, William, Logan Edwards, Lindsey Furlong and husband, Jason, and Cole Marshall and wife, Katarina; a host of great-grandchildren; and one sister, Midge Taylor of Little Rock.
Friends may visit the Hazel Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at Hazel Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be William Hall, Pete Wade, Blair Marshall, Cole Marshall, Jason Furlong, and Trey Choate.
Honorary pallbearers are Benny Dugger, Jerry Lynn McClain, Jason Farley, and David McClain.
