Obituary: Ralph Edward Victory, Jr.

Ralph Edward Victory, Jr., of Bradford, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 78. He was born March 6, 1945, the son of Ralph Edward, Sr. and Emma Lee (Woodruff) Victory.

Mr. Victory, lovingly known as “Rusty” served honorably in the Army. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher and was of the Baptist belief.

Mr. Victory loved fishing and reading. He enjoyed going to the racetrack to watch the races and work on the pit crew. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Victory is preceded in death by one brother, Gary Victory; a sister, Linda Houston; and his parents.

He is survived by one son, Ralph “Buddy” Victory, III.; one daughter, Lisa McClusky and husband, David; two grandchildren, Brent Cash and Isabella McClusky; a brother, Johnny Victory; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday evening, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Brent Cash, James Maples, Bob Crabtree, Andy May, and Michael Lewellyn.
