Tom “Tommy” Clark, 78, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born August 18, 1945, in Monette, Arkansas to Arthur and Ruby (Moser) Clark. He served the Batesville Fire Department for 20 years and retired as Captain. He was a member and elder of the Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Batesville, Arkansas. Tom was always in search of a deal. Buying, selling and trading cars was his passion. He was even known to buy the same car twice. He loved a good ballgame, especially watching his grandchildren. He was a past member of The River City Cruisers.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Alice Clark of the home; two daughters, Mandie Hall (Lance) of Batesville, Arkansas and Tracy Baxter (Scott) of Batesville, Arkansas; one brother, Donald Clark (Karen) of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Brenda Gigante (Larry Kemble) of Mountain View, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Boston Hall, Mera Hall, Hannah Baxter and Hayden Baxter; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rian Puckett and Alan Meinzer officiating. Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Grant, Jason Carter, Randel Davis, Steve Craft, Chad Passmore and Gary Anderson.
