Rodney Gene Pinkston, 55, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2024.
Rodney attended The Community School and participated in The Sheltered Workshop program. He enjoyed fellowship and activities at New Directions. He loved the Razorbacks, Pokemon, watching wrestling, and playing video games. Rodney once had a passion for strumming on his guitar, lifting weights, and bowling. Everyone adored Rodney and his personality.
He was preceded in death and meeting in heaven: his mother, Geraldine Patricia Pinkston (Ledford); his youngest brother, Brandon; and his beloved grandparents.
He is survived by his father, Gene Dale Pinkston; his oldest brother and his sister-in-law, Andrew & Lisa; his younger brother and his sister-in-law, Kirby & Katrina; his younger brother, Gregory; his sister, Amy Pinkston-Moore; and many loved nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside funeral at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville, Arkansas.
Honorary pallbearers include all of his friends at New Directions.
