The Stone County Courthouse has announced new measures for those entering the courtroom.
Effective immediately, the following items are no longer permitted inside the courtroom:
- Bags or purses of any kind
- Weapons of any kind
- Cellphones
According to the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, officials are asking those visiting the courtroom to leave these items in their vehicles. Anyone who brings these items into the courtroom will be asked to return them to their car.
