Laura Bell (Stallings) Bond Minick, 99, of Lake City, Arkansas departed this life Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born February 7, 1925, in Weona, Arkansas the daughter of David Milo and Mary (Simpson) Stallings and they preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband, Harold Thomas Bond and husband, Orphas Eugene Minick, three daughters: Connie Baney, Laura Jo Cudd, and Dorothy Bond, two brothers: James Stallings and Wesley ‶Buck″ Stallings, two sisters: Altie Miles and Ruth Oberg. Laura was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief. Laura enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, working with flowers, quilting, and spending time with family and friends. Laura is survived by four sons: Richard Bond of Jonesboro, William Bond of Lunsford, Gary Bond of Bay, and David Bond of Lunsford, one step-son, David Eugene Minick of Wiliford, three daughters: Mary Ellen Smith of Jonesboro, Georgia Thomas of Black Oak, Vickie Hickey of Bay, two step-daughters: Sandra Hattenhauer of Batesville and Teresa Brown of Cave City, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Jackson’s Funeral Home Harrisburg, from 10:00 until service time. Service time will be Graveside at Bolivar Cemetery at 11:00 A. M. These men will serve as Active Pallbearers: Adam Bond, Ricky Sefers, Chris Thomas, Stacey Thomas, and Scott Baney.
