Two killed after head-on collision on Highway 25

A head-on collision on State Highway 25 North Monday afternoon in Cleburne County killed two people and injured another.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Kim Stone, 59, of Concord, was driving a 2015 Buick Enclave south when the Buick crossed the centerline and struck a northbound 2015 Ford Explorer, head-on in the northbound traffic lane.

Stone and Erma Baker, 63, of Locust Grove, a passenger in the Explorer, died as a result of the collision.

The Explorer’s driver, identified in the report as Harold Baker, 63, of Locust Grove, was injured and taken to UAMS in Little Rock.

The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident, which occurred at 2:30 p.m.
