Stone County Sheriff Brandon Long announced on social media Thursday morning that his office is conducting a countywide drug warrant roundup.
Sheriff Long said deputies are currently searching for 30 individuals with drug-related arrest warrants, specifically for the sale and delivery of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other dangerous drugs. He mentioned that multiple agencies are assisting his department in locating these individuals.
According to the sheriff, the roundup stems from a long-term drug investigation targeting individuals selling and distributing drugs within Stone County.
Sheriff Long added that more information would be released at a later date.
