Harold J. Perrin of Newark, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the age of 96. He was born November 26, 1927, in Swifton, Arkansas, the son of Oscar and Pearl (Young) Perrin.
Mr. Perrin was a graduate of Newport High School. He worked as a mechanic for International Shoe and later worked for and retired from Bridal Originals. Mr. Perrin attended Newark Church of Christ. His hobbies included duck hunting and working in his well-trimmed yard and flower beds. He always drove fast beautiful cars. Mr. Perrin will be remembered for being a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ollie Mae Bagwell; daughter-in-law Judy Perrin and his parents.
Mr. Perrin is survived by his wife of 76 years, Delano (McDoniel) Perrin; one son, Billy Perrin of Imperial, Missouri; one daughter, Beth Ann Korenak and husband, John, of Luebbering, Missouri; four grandchildren, Amie Davis and husband, Beau, Carrie Dalton, Cole Perrin, and Emily Korenak and husband, Kevin Bell; five great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit the Newark Church of Christ, on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Danny Belvins officiating. The interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
