James Franklin (Frank) Estes of Cave City, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2024, at the tender age of 91. He was born April 20, 1993, to Floyd and Hazel Estes of El Reno, Oklahoma, where he lived until joining the US Army during the Korean War. Frank worked for John Deere for many years before becoming a mail carrier for the US Postal Service until his retirement. He proudly attended First Baptist Church in Cave City.
He is survived by his daughter, Deann Vichkon of Cave City; son, Dan Estes of Roxboro, NC; sisters, Ruth Jean Todd, Nancy Abshire, and Margaret Christian; brothers, David Estes, Gene Estes, and Leon Estes. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kim Quinn and Shawna Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Kendie and Cora Quinn, Micah, Caleb, Isaiah, Carson, and Madison Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Estes, parents, Floyd and Hazel Estes, sister Juanita Parker, and grandson, Chris Vichkon.
