Ozarka College recently received an equipment donation from Emerson in Ash Flat.

This summer, Emerson donated a new industrial fume collector to the Ozarka welding program.

According to a release from Ozarka, Emerson’s donation will enhance Ozarka’s welding lab in the new technical center in Stone County.

“We are grateful for Emerson’s continued support of Ozarka’s welding program,” said Dr. Josh Wilson, vice president of advancement at Ozarka College. “Their generous gift will be a welcomed addition to the new lab at the Mountain View Technical Center. We appreciate their generosity.”

“Emerson is proud to announce the donation of a fume collector to Ozarka College,” said Paritosh Bhole, Emerson’s Greenlee Ash Flat plant general manager. “This equipment will enhance the educational experience for students in the school’s manufacturing programs and aligns with our ongoing commitment to support local education and skills training. By providing access to industry-standard equipment, we aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, preparing the next generation for successful careers in the manufacturing sector. We look forward to seeing the incredible advancements Ozarka College students will achieve.”
