Freddie Dowayne Henderson, 80, of Bradford departed this life Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Batesville, AR. He was born July 2, 1944, to Fred and Vivian (Ferguson) Henderson.

Born on July 2, 1944, to Fred and Vivian Henderson, Freddie inherited more than just their names. He inherited their strength, their integrity, and a love for working with his hands. As a master electrician, Freddie’s skill was unmatched. Whether wiring a home or working on one of his many projects, his passion was clear. His love for craftsmanship extended beyond electricity. He found joy in building and remodeling houses.

Freddie also had a passion for collecting. His collection of guns and knives was a reflection of his deep respect for history, tradition, and craftsmanship. He treasured each piece, not just as objects, but as stories waiting to be told—much like the stories we now share about him.

Though Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings; Mildred Ann, Dennis, Jimmy Don, and William Henderson, and his beloved dog Whiskey.

Freddie’s life was full of love. He leaves behind his two devoted sisters, Roetta Pate, and her husband Erik of Bradford, and Robin Dale, and her husband Scott of Heber Springs, a host of nieces and nephews. His love also touched the heart of Belinda Wilkinson, his life companion, who stood by his side with unwavering support. And in Belinda’s granddaughter, Kaylan Annie Yockey, Freddie found a new generation to care for and cherish, as he did everyone in his life.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time
