Edna Mae McGarrah Thompson, 83, of Springdale died September 22, 2024, at her home. She was born February 11, 1941, in Springdale to Rachel and Amos McGarrah. She was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God. She taught Children’s Church and Sunday School. Edna loved her family fiercely. That love was only trumped by her love for her Savior, Jesus.
Survivors include three daughters, Alesia Treat, Sherry Phillips and Susan Warder; three sons, Bobby Thompson, Bryan Thompson, and Steve Thompson and one heavenly son Billy Thompson; brother, Jack McGarrah; sister, Joan Sigmon; 33 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; countless nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life service will be on October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Round Mountain Community Church, 14535 Round Mountain Community Road Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Rev. Travis Creekmore will be officiating.
