Bobbie June Smith, 91, of Foral passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born June 21, 1933, in Yell County, AR, to the late Abner Eugene and Ola McBride. Bobbie was an energetic and giving woman who loved her family and the church. Her smile was contagious and available to those who needed it most. She dedicated years in the ministry as a servant leader. Her mission was to make a positive impact on the lives she touched. As a Bible class teacher, she taught others to not only be a hearer but a doer and follower of Christ. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching her favorite TV show Wheel of Fortune. She was a beloved member of the Floral community, leaving a legacy of love and strength. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Keith Smith; her grandson, T.J. Smith; her father and mother; three sisters, Dot Miller, Becky Brogdon, and Pat Lewis; and her brother “Sonny Boy” McBride.
Left to cherish her memories include her son Timothy Smith (Missy), her daughter Cheryl Ann Smith Hissong, her grandchildren Lee Hissong (Miranda), Lydia Smith, Aliza Smith, and Julianna Smith; and her two sisters JoAnn Norton (Phil) and Carolyn Nokes (Larry).
Bobbie June Smith’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled.
