Grace Melton, 89 of Batesville, passed away on October 1, 2024, at Batesville. She was born July 28, 1935, in Alapaha, Georgia, to Daniel and Rebecca Roberts. She was a keypunch operator and a member of Pilgrims Rest.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, hummingbirds and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Von Melton, and one son; Anthony Melton.
Survivors include one son; Cliff Melton of Batesville, one daughter; Stacy Waugh, five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October 4, at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be Nick Rayford, Lyric Rayford, Jimmy Waugh, Conor Kever, Zaylee Adkins, and Zoey Hatley.
