Effie Evelyn Pitts Adams, 85, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away October 7th, 2024, in Searcy, Arkansas, peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born August 6th, 1939, in Mountain View, Arkansas to Dickie and Myrtle (Teague) Pitts.
Effie was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, listening to music, and shopping. She was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dickie and Myrtle Pitts; husband, Royce Adams; one son, Gary Henry; four siblings, Charlie Pitts, Earnest Pitts, Kay Trammell, and Gene Pitts.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Brenda (Clyde) Hitchcock, Glenda Henry, and Glen Henry all of Cabot, Arkansas. She is also survived by two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 10th, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am, at the Fifty-Six Cemetery. Brother Gary Don Fletcher will officiate the service.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
