Obituary: Paula Jean Millikin

Paula Jean Millikin, age 85, of Oil Trough, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at Woodlawn Nursing Home. She was born on November 9th, 1938, in Newport, Arkansas, to Allen Grigsby and Mary Opal (Pate) Pollard. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Edward Burrow; and three brothers, Jimmy Grigsby, Bobby Pollard, and Jerry Pollard.

Paula was very family-oriented. She enjoyed cooking many homemade meals for them. She took great joy in taking care of the people around her. In her later years of life, she also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Dwayne. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her second husband, Dwayne Millikin of Oil Trough; her children, Charles Allen Burrow and his wife Pam of Oil Trough, Angela Burrow Stephens of Oil Trough, Cathy Dawson and her husband John of Camden, Arkansas, and Bruce Millikin and his wife Candy of Batesville; her sisters, Brenda Davidson of Conway, Arkansas, and Ginger Pollard of Tuckerman, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Allen Burrow, Jennifer Long and her husband John, Morgan Jenkins and her husband Scott, John D. Dawson, Anna Dawson, and Jake Wood and his wife Morgan; 6 great-grandchildren, Jade, Destinie, Piper, Emily, Emmett, and Sam; 5 great-great grandchildren, Madden, Rhyland, Millie, Layton, and Kynslee; several nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at Southside Church of Christ in Batesville with Bill Cline officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Browns Memorial Cemetery in Oil Trough.

Pallbearers will be Robert Foster, Steve Millikin, Randy Sisk, Craig Shirley, Jonathan Fowler, and Austin Anthony.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Woodlawn Skilled Nursing Center, Willow Hall, and Caring Hands Hospice.
