Local lawyer H. David Blair (pictured above) was inducted into the Arkansas Bar Legal Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Little Rock on Sept. 12, 2024.
Blair, who has practiced in Batesville throughout his career, co-founded the firm Blair and Stroud in 1982 and continues to serve as an active member.
He was honored for his distinguished service to the Bar and his clients, having tried cases in both state and federal courts in Arkansas and surrounding states.
Blair has also appeared before appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, where his client prevailed in a case.
His contributions to the legal profession include leadership roles on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions and the Arkansas Supreme Court Civil Procedure Rules Committee.
