A Mountain View man has been arrested on multiple counts related to child pornography.

According to Sheriff Brandon Long, the Stone County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation in September after receiving information that child pornography was being downloaded at a residence south of Mountain View.

Long said after a search warrant was executed on Oct. 17 at the residence on Highway 9 residence, David Scott Slauson (pictured), 49, was arrested and charged with 32 counts of pandering or possessing visual sexually explicit conduct involving a child, each a Class C felony.

Long said the investigation is ongoing, and charges may still be increased or additional charges added pending a final review by the prosecuting attorney.

Slauson is being held at the Stone County Detention Center without bond.
