The holiday season arrived early as 1340 KBTA began an All-Christmas music format at midnight in partnership with Main Street Batesville.
The unique collaboration between White River Now’s family of radio stations and downtown merchants not only encourages listeners to shop locally this season, but also provides the perfect soundtrack for the holidays.
“This is something we’ve planned for several months and the partnership with local businesses drives home the fact that, as a community, we depend on each other. Especially after the tumultuous year we’ve all experienced, a generous dose of Christmas music will be a welcome sound to listeners,” said Chad Whiteaker, general manager of White River Now.
Special advertising rates are also available for this event.
“We want this to be an opportunity for any size business with any advertising budget and our hope is the businesses will see a return on their investment many times over during the season,” said Rob Grace, president of White River Now.
For those interested in having their business or group included, please contact Chad Whiteaker at (870) 793-4196.
The special Christmas music format will air through December 31st on 1340 KBTA, and the live broadcast stream is also available 24/7 at WhiteRiverNow.com and through the free White River Now mobile app.
