The burn ban for Independence County has been lifted, according to Independence County Judge Kevin Jeffery.
The judge made the announcement Sunday afternoon as more precipitation moved through the county.
According to the National Weather Service, multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible through Tuesday, with several inches of rainfall forecast throughout a large portion of Arkansas.
