Chris enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, beginning with Norandal and later moving to the Steel Mill, where he worked in maintenance. His hard work and reliability were appreciated by his colleagues, who knew him as a skilled and devoted worker.

Chris also had a creative side; he enjoyed painting, collecting antiques, and working with model trains, hobbies that reflected his patience and eye for detail.
A lifelong sports fan, Chris was an enthusiastic supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals, attending games whenever he could, and he loved cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks with equal devotion.
Faith was central to Chris’s life. As a devoted member and deacon of Southside Church of Christ, he served his congregation with kindness and a willingness to lend a hand. His gentle spirit and selflessness left a lasting impact on those around him.
Chris will be remembered as a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Patty, his children, grandchildren, and extended family, who will forever cherish his memory.
His legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him. Chris will be deeply missed.
