Linda Sue (Cotten) Timbs of Tuckerman, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born May 26, 1949, in Batesville, the daughter of Clyde C. and Arvilla (Morgan) Cotten.
Ms. Timbs was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She was of the Baptist belief.
Ms. Timbs enjoyed exploring new places and was always ready to go on a road trip. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen and enjoyed cooking for the people she loved most. Ms. Timbs also loved celebrating Birthdays, especially her own.
Ms. Timbs is preceded in death by her son, Clifford Leon Timbs; one granddaughter, Linda Skaggs; and her parents.
She is survived by her son, James Timbs; her daughter, Marie Timbs Williams; nine grandchildren, Cliff Timbs and wife, Aranxa, Samantha Bryant and husband, Tim, Clarissa Huff, Elsa Timbs Carpenter and husband, Nathan, Claire Timbs, Jaden Timbs, Jaxon Timbs, Jabe Timbs, and Dakota Evans; ten great-grandchildren; and her special friend, her beloved Jerome Akins, who has been by her side for fifteen years.
Friends may visit at Jackson’s Funeral Home Wednesday, November 13, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Raymond Beckles officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jaxon Timbs, Jacob Hoover, Tim Bryant, Dakota Evans, Cliff Timbs, and Nathan Carpenter.
