Barbara (Caperton) Wilson departed this life on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born March 27, 1944, in Newport, Arkansas, the daughter of Kim and Gladis (Woodard) Caperton.
Mrs. Wilson had worked as a nurse’s aide for home health and as a loan officer. She loved knitting dolls and baby blankets for her grandchildren. Her hobbies included baking wedding cakes and watching crime shows. She attended Holden Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lynn Wilson; one brother, Larry Caperton; one great-great-grandchild, Easton; and her parents.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by two sons, Timmy Wilson of Newport and Carl Wilson of Newport; one daughter, Jenetta Green of Newport; one brother, Michael Caperton of California and Lee Anderson of Texas; two sisters, Carolyn and husband, Cleo and Linda Anzalone and husband, John; seven grandchildren, Lloyd Green, Gus Wilson, Timmy Wilson, II, Debra Wisdom, Tara Wilson, Brittney Simmons, and Tyler Simmons; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of other family members and friends.
