Argie Marie Foster Sullivan, 99, of Smithville was called to her Heavenly home on November 18, 2024. She was born June 30, 1925, in Grange to James and Annie (Motes) Foster. She went to school in Cave City, worked at the International Shoe Factory, and was a Cave City Schools foster grandparent. She attended the Nazareth Church at Calamine and later became a lifelong member of the Smithville Baptist Church. Argie enjoyed gardening, cows, flowers, grandkids, and taking care of her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice Sullivan, whom she married on December 6, 1942, at Calamine by B. F. Butler and passed away on February 21, 2005; her brother, Arvis Foster; sisters, Emma Foster-Joyner and Vera Mae Cooper Anderson.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Sullivan (Kathie) of Smithville, Gary Sullivan of Calamine and Maurice Sullivan (Lexie) also of Calamine; her daughter, Wanda Richard (Johnny) of WY; six grandchildren Jason Sullivan, Jeremy Sullivan, Hayley Tibbs, Jody Harris, Susan Richard, and Jeressa House; twelve great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren along with a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Keith Martin and Jeremy Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the McAdams Cemetery located near Calamine.

Visitation will begin Thursday, November 21, 2024, from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Wilmoth, Matthew Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, Jonas Anderson, Josh Hernandez and Joe Hernandez.
Honorary Pallbearers are Benjamin Tibbs and David Anderson.
