Main Street Batesville will be bustling with holiday cheer for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30.
This morning on Arkansas 103.3 KWOZ, Main Street Batesville Director Maggie Tipton Smart told White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker that local retailers and merchants are eager and ready for the event, which begins at 10 a.m. in the heart of Batesville’s historic downtown.
Shoppers will have the opportunity to support local businesses and discover unique holiday gifts. And, at 4 p.m., the Batesville Area Arts Council will hold a painting class for kids at Citizens Bank Pocket Park.
The festivities will conclude with a tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. at the Citizens Bank Pocket Park, featuring a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Main Street Batesville’s Small Business Saturday is sponsored by Citizens Bank and supported by Edward Jones, Lyon College, and First Community Bank.
