Melvin Presser, 77, of Cave City passed away on December 2, 2024, in Batesville. He was born August 1, 1947 in Sandtown to Virgle and Ina Fay (Pool) Presser. He retired from White Rodgers after 40 years, a retiree of the Cave City Fire Department and a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. He enjoyed knife and coin collecting, fishing, hunting, and watching the Grand Ole Opry.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Obie Martin.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Presser; one son Aaron Presser (Katie) of Perryville; three daughters, Melanie Jenkins (Byron) of Southaven, MS, Amy Johnson (Eddie) of Cave City, and Karen Street (Dean) of Jonesboro; one brother, James Presser of Sandtown; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Cave City First Freewill Baptist with Bro. Trent Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel cemetery.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel.
Pallbearers will be Keith Saterwhite, Jody Presser, Donnie Presser, Chad Presser, Billy Corter, Curt Coles.
Honorary Pallbearers are the morning coffee drinkers at the Flash Market and The Cave City Fire Department.
