Obituary: Jetta Ruth Arnett Grady

Jetta Ruth Arnett Grady, 91, of Southside passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

She was born December 9, 1933, in Beedeville to Charles and Ethel Arnett.

Jetta loved her family and was a strong, caring and independent person who enjoyed sewing and cooking. She cooked Sunday lunch for her family every Sunday. Jetta was a member of the Desha Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Roy Grady (Heather) of Pangburn; two daughters, Billie Ruth Grady of Batesville, and Debra Machen of Tallulah, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Dene Machen (Heidi), Stewart Machen, Alan Machen (Katie), and Will Hardison (Melinda), and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William ”Billy Ed” Grady; one son, William Edward Grady, Jr.; one granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Grady; four brothers, one sister, and one great-grandson.

Pallbearers are Dene Machen, Will Hardison, Stewart Machen, Alan Machen, Kegan Machen, and Austin Machen.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, at Sand Hill Cemetery in Auvergne at 2:00 pm.

A visitation will be held from noon until 1:00 pm at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home before the service.
