Ruth Jean (Qualls) Money, a lifetime resident of Newark, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born October 20, 1928, the daughter of Ernest and Edna (Whaley) Qualls.

Mrs. Money was a graduate of Newark High School. On February 26, 1949, she wed Mr. Bradie Curtis Money, and together they built a beautiful life for their family. Mrs. Money worked at White Rodgers on the control line until her retirement in 1987. She was a devoted member of the Newark First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Money had a knack for creating beauty with her hands. Whether it was through crafting, her garden, or a meal she lovingly prepared, she poured her heart into everything she did. In her quieter moments, Mrs. Money loved sitting on the front porch, watching the traffic pass by, and looking at her flowers. Mrs. Money also enjoyed cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Mrs. Money’s greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her family.
