Daisy Prince, aged 96, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 5th, 1928, in Batesville, AR, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose unwavering love and dedication shaped the lives of her five beautiful children.
As a loving Mother, she cherished her children, providing unwavering support and protection. Her culinary skills filled her home with the comforting aromas of her delicious dishes. In her garden, her green thumb was evident, tending to vibrant flowers and lush plants, creating beauty that was admired by all.
She loved reminiscing, often sharing stories of days gone by, ensuring that our family’s memories remained vivid, and cherished, and kept our family history alive. These memories will forever bring smiles to our faces as we remember her warmth and wisdom.
Her steadfast faith served as a guiding light throughout her life, leading her through a beautiful, full, and long journey.
She is now joyfully reunited in heaven with her true love and husband of nearly 50 years, Harry Albert Prince Jr., and their three beloved sons, Harry Albert Prince III (Pattie), Jerry Dale Prince (Kaye), and Thomas Edward Prince (Carrol). She was also met by her parents, Floyd and Effie (Ives) Brokaw; her brothers, Abe, Willis, Ray, and Vaughn; and her sisters, Dorothy and Louise. She leaves behind her daughters, Regina Pinkston (Gary), and Judy Reddock (Phillip); eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her legacy by keeping her memories alive with smiles, laughter, and gratitude.
Her life was a testament to love, faith, and dedication. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in our memories and in God’s eternal embrace.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. A funeral service, officiated by Caleb Harris, will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Both will be at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville, AR. Burial service will be directly following at Weaver’s Chapel Cemetery on Weaver’s Chapel Rd., Batesville, AR.
