Ronnie Samuel Coy of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life on March 7, 2025, his birthday, at the age of 75. He was born March 7, 1950, the son of Sammie and Alene (Hall) Coy.

Coy was a member of the last graduating class of Cash High School. He worked for Delta Trailer in the Finishing Department. While Mr. Coy wasn’t a member of a certain church, he was a Godly man and often talked about Jesus with his mother.

Coy enjoyed hanging out with his friends and loved ones. His genuine warmth and unwavering support touched the lives of countless friends and family members. He will be remembered for never having met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him.

Coy is preceded in death by his wife Vickie Lynn Coy, a son-in-law, Gerald Carlyle, and his parents.

He is survived by his son, Sammie Coy and wife, Carla, of Brighton, Tennessee; his daughters, Stacie Coy Carlyle of Jonesboro and Stephanie Coy Robertson and husband, Mike, of Paragould; his step-daughter, Angela Elliott, of Paragould; a sister, Laneta Coy Thompson of Trumann; five grandchildren, Abbie Hood and husband, Josh, Eryn Coy, Kaylyn Coy, Paige Strode and husband, Saben, and Nick Coy; his cousin, Janet Mcgregor, of Cherokee Village; and a lifetime of family and friends.
