The Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) will showcase HOLI, an exhibition by artist Brice Stephens, at the BAAC Gallery on Main from March 11 to April 25, 2025. The exhibition is sponsored by Polk & Paddle.

Stephens, a Desha, Arkansas native and former student of Aline McCracken, is known for his unique method of painting on old windows using ink and acrylic paint. He paints directly on the glass in reverse, beginning with the forefront of the image rather than the background, a technique that sets his work apart from traditional canvas painting.

The exhibition is free and open to the public, with a reception scheduled for Friday, March 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. A brief artist talk will take place at 6 p.m. during the reception. The BAAC Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information, visit the BAAC Gallery on Main at 226 E. Main St., Batesville.
