Alice Marie Watkins, 85, of Batesville passed away March 13, 2025 in Batesville. She was born March 22, 1939 in Big Prairie, OH to Royal and Anna Barker. She was a LPN and a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Strawberry. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, family, and church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elder Daniel Liddell Watkins; one son, Duane Watkins; three stepsons, Billy Dell Watkins, Jerry Watkins, and Dwight Watkins; three brothers, Roy Barker Jr., Ray Barker, and John Barker; three sisters, Sue Barker, Mary Martin, and Dorothy Edinger.
Survivors include five sons Allen Watkins, Byron Watkins, Shelton Watkins, Roger Watkins, and Glen Watkins (Rhonda); two daughters, Treva Gibbs (Byron) and Veada Metcalf (Johnny); two stepsons; Don Watkins and Johnny Watkins; eighteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 15, 2025, 3:00 P.M. at the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City Chapel with Bro. Roger Randolph officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located at Cave City.

Visitation will begin Saturday, March 15, 2025, 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Watkins, Nathan Watkins, Cristian Jenkins, Johnny Metcalf, Roger Watkins, and Byron Watkins.
