The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) has appointed Amanda Roberts as its new membership engagement specialist.

A Batesville native and graduate of Arkansas State University, Roberts brings a wealth of experience in community engagement and business development to the role. As membership engagement specialist, she will focus on strengthening the chamber’s network by working closely with members to understand their goals, share innovative strategies, foster partnerships, and deliver impactful training and programs that drive business success.

“Amanda’s deep-rooted passion for our community and her expertise in building meaningful connections make her the perfect addition to our team,” said BACC CEO Crystal Johnson. “We are excited to welcome her and confident she will make a lasting impact on our chamber and the businesses we serve.”

Before joining the chamber, Roberts served as the Safe Scots Project Director at Lyon College, where she led initiatives promoting campus safety and well-being. She is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Main Street Batesville and contributing to events such as the Levitt AMP Music Series and Main Street Batesville’s Fun and Safe Halloween.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the chamber’s dynamic staff and the amazing businesses and organizations that make up the chamber and our community,” said Roberts. “I can’t wait to build relationships with each and every one and learn how the chamber can serve as a catalyst in growing our region’s businesses through programming, workshops, training, and more.”

Roberts resides in Batesville with her husband, Robb, a senior vice president at First Community Bank, their daughter, Mia, and their pets, FiFi and Fozzie.
