
Elizabeth “Jetta Mae” (Williams) Talley, 93, of Bradford, passed from this life on April 10, 2025. She was born in Oil Trough on July 9, 1931, to Clyde and Ethel Mae (Hess) Williams.
Jetta was a devoted homemaker who faithfully supported her husband in managing their family farm. She was a longtime member of Bradford Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and touched many young lives. Jetta was also a proud member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, a dedicated caretaker of Coffeeville Cemetery, and a loyal poll worker for Jackson County elections.
She was known for her generous spirit and her love of cooking, especially the special birthday dinners she prepared for her family and the Sunday meals that brought everyone together. Jetta enjoyed sewing, reading, camping, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones. Her warmth, faith, and love of family will leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life with whom she was married to for 66 ½ year, Duie Lee Talley; her sisters, Erma Dean Williams and Fayrene Branch, and her granddaughter, Rachel Dunn.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Turner and husband, Dale of Crossville, Tennessee, Brenda Dunn and husband, Arthur of Bradford, and Dianna Roller and husband, Mike of Gassville; her brother-in-law, Everett Talley; her grandchildren, Rebecca Clark and husband, Andrew, Leslie Ladd and husband, Alan, Dr. Jennifer Foster and husband Dr. Tom Foster, and Jonathan Roller and wife, Tiffany; her great grandchildren, Payton Dunn, Dawson Doyle, Abby Foster, Stormy Roller and William Roller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Bradford Baptist Church with Dal Hogan officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time.
