Main Street Batesville has planned their Annual Winter Gala for Friday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at The Main Street Loft inside the Barnett Building located at 267 E. Main St. in downtown Batesville. The theme for this year’s event will be “Urban Cowboy” with an emphasis on the television show, Dallas. Guests are encouraged to dress accordingly.
Festivities include a live and silent auction, costume contest, two-step competition, heavy hors-d’oeuvres, dancing, and live entertainment. The event will be followed by an afterparty featuring the band, The Cherry Pickers.
The gala is a benefit for Main Street Batesville, a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Batesville through economic development and historic preservation.
“The Winter Gala is one of downtown’s best events and everyone always has a great time,” said Jenifer Walls, gala coordinator. “Winter Gala brings together people in our community that genuinely love downtown while raising thousands of dollars for Main Street Batesville.”
