Sulphur Rock woman charged with possession

A Sulphur Rock woman has been charged with being in possession of an illegal drug.

An agent of the Arkansas Community Corrections Department, Krista Huston, was conducting a parole search Thursday, Jan. 25, on Kerri Sue Ellis, 40, and found an amount of meth in her pants pocket, according to Independence County Circuit Court information.

Ellis was on parole at the time.  She was taken into custody and charged with felony possession of meth.  Her bond was set at $5,000.
