Citizens Bank has announced the promotion of Sandy Starnes to a new position.
Sandy Starnes has been named Vice President of Emerging Products and Services. This newly created role will oversee and manage the expansion of Citizens Bank into new and unique customer service opportunities.
“Banking is currently evolving through the adoption of forward-looking technologies and in response to changing customer requirements,” said Baldwin. “Citizens Bank wants to be in front of this evolution. I believe Sandy has the vision and leadership to move us aggressively into this future.”
Starnes previously served as Citizens Bank’s Vice President of Training and Recruitment. In this position, she was responsible for all professional and technical training programs, management training activities, new employee orientation and employee recruitment.
Starnes is a member of the Arkansas Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Council. In 2017, she also was appointed to the American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Advisory Board. Sandy’s appointment to this national board allows her to represent Arkansas and Citizens Bank across the United States.
Starnes holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and Marketing degree from Arkansas State University and is a graduate of the Barret School of Banking. She and her husband, Michael, have a son, Tucker.
