Volunteer opportunities are available with the White River Health System (WRHS), according to Toi McMullin, director of volunteer services at the White River Medical Center (WRMC), a division of WRHS.
The WRHS volunteers assist patients, visitors, physicians, and employees and give their time to improve the patient experience. Volunteers welcome patients, guide visitors, and deliver things like flowers, cards, and newspapers. They also volunteer in the cafeteria and gift shops, according to a release from WRHS.
Volunteer opportunities are available at White River Medical Center (WRMC), Stone County Medical Center (SCMC), and the WRMC Medical Complex Cherokee Village. For more information or to become a volunteer, contact McMullin at (870) 262-6555.
