Statewide, “red” is still the prevalent color; Russellville and Pine Bluff will have new casinos; and the Arkansas minimum wage will be getting a boost. Locally, retired firefighters finally saw a positive resolution regarding the future of their benefits and Batesville voters nixed an opportunity for longer terms held by city council members.
