Region 8 News reports, VivintSource.com tallied up the number of thefts committed in every state between November 1 and January 30 for the past 5 years.
This study revealed, Arkansas ranked tenth in the nation for the most holiday thefts.
Arkansas averaged 67.3 thefts per 10,000 residents during the holiday season. Ahead of Arkansas in the number of holiday thefts per capita from ninth to the number one worst state for holiday thefts: Delaware, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, New Mexico and Washington.
The number one state in the nation with the least amount of holiday thefts per capita is New York.
