Final preparations are underway for the opening of the new Citizens Bank headquarters and financial center at 655 St. Louis St. in Batesville.
At the close of business on Friday, Jan. 18, the bank’s branch at 480 St. Louis St. will relocate its existing services and employees to the new location.
Also at that time, the current Citizens Bank main branch at 200 S. Third St. will relocate its retail, lending and trust personnel and services to the new headquarters.
Following the Martin Luther King holiday observance on Monday, Jan. 21, the new Citizens Bank building will officially open for business on Tuesday, Jan. 22, as the bank’s new headquarters and financial center. A formal grand opening celebration will be announced later.
“These are exciting times in the history of Citizens Bank,” said Phil Baldwin, chief executive officer for Citizen Bank. “We are looking forward to serving our customers at our beautiful new facility.”
Citizens Bank’s new headquarters financial center is scheduled to officially open for business on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Citizens Bank has also spruced up the brick and steel span above the “Citizens Bank Pocket Park” in historic downtown Batesville. Tables have been added to the park for the public’s convenience, and a series of additional improvements are being planned. / Images via Citizens Bank
